DISTRICT CONTINUOUS SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
To the NCSD Community,
A positive school climate helps people feel socially, emotionally and physically safe in schools. To ensure the district is aligning its priorities, staff and resources to meet the needs of our school community, the North St. Francois County R-1 School District will be conducting its School Climate & Culture Survey for students, faculty, staff, parents, and patrons on April 4th-11th, 2022.
● Students in grades 5-12 will be asked to complete the survey. For the student survey, click HERE.
● Parents will have until Monday, April 11th to complete the survey. For the parent survey, click HERE.
● Faculty & Staff will receive a link to the survey and instructions through their district email accounts. Staff will have until Monday, April 11th to complete the survey. For the certified staff survey, click HERE. For the classified staff survey, click HERE.
● Patrons of our District are also asked to complete the survey. For the patron survey, click HERE.
The School Climate Survey is voluntary and anonymous. It was created by compiling questions from the National School Climate Center (NSCC), Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS), and the US Department of Education. The data being collected is for district use only and is not shared with state or federal agencies. Only aggregate information, not individual answers, will be utilized to inform efforts to improve the school climate. Data from the School Culture & Climate Survey is used to measure perceptions within our schools on topics such as safety, teaching and learning, relationships, and the environment. The data collected helps building and district leaders identify areas of success and determine where improvements could be made or where more resources are needed.
Again, the survey will be live from April 4th-11th, 2022. It is expected to take approximately 8-10 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance to everyone in our NCSD Raiders community for your participation!
