Carpentry and Construction involves a variety of jobs: building the frame work for homes, erecting walls and roofs, and installing doors and windows. Construction jobs done by carpenters include: remodeling, maintenance-repair work, prefabricated buildings, new buildings, and building forms to hold concrete at industrial and commercial building sites.

Students will also be trained in basic plumbing skills, metal stud work, and concrete forms and finishing, along with other numerous facets of construction. Training will consist of classroom instruction, with shop demonstration through projects. Students will also be going to actual job sites to perform construction practices.
This program is articulated with the AGC Laborer's Training Union and the AFL-CIO Carpenter's Apprenticeship Program.
