This program takes the beginning student with basic conventional drafting skills through AutoCAD to provide the student with skills needed to obtain employment as an entry-level Computer-Aided Drafter and a wide variety of industries which parallel the various engineering fields. Work will consist of free hand sketching, lettering, geometric construction, orthographic projection, pictorial drawings, section views, threads and fasteners, dimensioning practicing, schematic drawings, and architectural drawings.
