Dear Parent(s) or Guardian:

It’s that time of year again when our students participate in the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP). The MAP has two major goals. One is to raise achievement for all Missouri students. Second is to assess the skills your child has learned thus far.

The teachers have been preparing your student for the MAP test since August. At this time, we are asking you to help us by further preparing your child to take the MAP. You can do this by making sure that your child has the proper amount of sleep and nutrition throughout the testing periods listed below. Attendance is also very important as we have a limited window of time to administer the assessment. Students can earn daily and weekly prizes for perfect attendance and for demonstrating an excellent attitude and exceptional effort.
