PowerPoint Storyboard Handout Scoring Guide for PowerPoint Since copying and pasting information is the new 'electronic plagiarism' the library staff promotes the use of the storyboard. Classes spend a day or two locating information, a day in the classroom completing a storyboard (this objective hones students' notetaking skills), then a day or two in the lab using the storyboard to create a PowerPoint presentation. Of course citing sources, even graphics, is a must!! Feel free to ask the librarian for assistance with your classes.	Why use scoring guides/rubrics? RubiStar: Developed to help the teacher who wants to use rubrics but does not have the time to develop them from scratch. The Art and Science of Teaching with Technology Helps busy teachers design a scoring guide for all projects. Tech Tip: Develop the scoring guide/rubric online then save to your 'U' drive for future use. You can also save or copy to Microsoft Word to edit.
