Spring is not that far away! March 20th will be here before we know it, and nature will take on a new look. The beautiful flowering dogwoods (Cornus florida) of Missouri will be one of Spring's beauties of nature. We know that these beautiful blossoms will soon grace the hillsides, yards, forest, state parks, and other locations in Missouri. Please help us to keep track of these lovely trees as they make their appearance for the Spring of 2005 across the state of Missouri.
Be on the lookout for these beautiful state trees as they begin to show their blossoms in your area. Please e-mail us as to the date, the city/town, or nearest location of where you saw the flowering dogwoods in the state of Missouri. We are going to do a break down of the four geographical regions of Missouri and chart the information as we receive it. Then we will be able to compare and contrast the four geographical regions as to when the dogwood trees bloom. Remember that Spring begins March 20th, so we will be looking for your e-mails.

PLEASE SEND IN ALL E-MAILS BY MAY 10, 2004.
We will let you know the results by May 26, 2004.
THANK YOU!
